Chemists Sell Paternity Test Kits
AUCKLAND, New Zealand – November 17, 2009 – The Daily Express reports on the launch of the first over-the-counter paternity tests.
Families face being split up following today’s launch of the first over-the-counter paternity tests, experts have warned.
The £30 kit, available from chemist chain Clockwork Pharmacy, will allow parents to take DNA swabs from their children to reveal the father’s identity.
But there are concerns that it could trigger furious family rows by presenting explosive genetic information without the back-up of counselling and advice.
